Perched on the Mont Boron hill overlooking Nice's bay and the Villefranche-sur-Mer harbour, the Mont Alban fort was built around 1560 and was once one of the County of Nice's major defensive constructions. A tour of this site leads you deep into the everyday lives of 16th to 20th century soldiers. Stop to admire the work of Ecole de Nice artists on display on the site's walls.
